hosteria y restaurante america is a really nice hotel close to the city center. the facilities are great, and i loved having breakfast in the restaurant with a view over the beagle channel. the staff were very nice and helpful.

The Standard Double Room with Sea View offers a stunning perspective of the surrounding area, a true highlight for anyone looking to soak in the landscape. The good part of the bathroom is that it features a bidet, adding a unique flair to the setup, although it might feel a tad cramped.

The walk to the main parts of town can be a hurdle in less favorable weather, requiring a 10-15 minute trek that some may find tiresome. The primary bath has space issues, especially getting in and out of the shower since the bidet encroaches on the entrance, making it a tight squeeze. Breakfast was reported as below average by friends, resembling what you'd encounter at a basic chain hotel, offering very little variety and quality.

Great sea view room

I loved the cozy atmosphere at Hosteria y Restaurante America. The location felt peaceful, away from the main street noise, allowing for a lovely walk each day. The staff were truly delightful, always ready to chat and assist. Breakfast with a stunning view of the Beagle Channel made mornings special. I appreciated the efficient heating in my room, especially with the cold temperatures outside. However, the breakfast options felt a bit limited. I would have liked more variety than just basic eggs and ham. Also, a earlier breakfast would be helpful for those with morning excursions. After some concern with my initial room's plumbing, I was transferred to a much nicer place, which improved my stay. While I had issues, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I would consider returning.

This place was just a fitting option for a brief hiatus in Ushuaia with fantastic value. The rooms were super clean, which I appreciated, making my stay more enjoyable. Be prepared for a bit of a climb to get back, but the view is nice on the way up.

We loved our stay here, especially enjoying the clean remodeled room and the shower with great water pressure. There are cozy spots to relax, and we especially liked hanging out in the leisure room and public bath. Just a heads up, the hotel is up a hill, so be ready for a little climb, but it’s totally worth it! 😊

The Deluxe Apartment was spacious and super comfy, a real bonus for privacy and relaxation. Super clean and nicely furnished, the kitchen area was perfect for us to prepare snacks. The shower had great water pressure and the hot water never ran out! Location was also a plus, making it easy to explore the area. One small downside was that the bed seemed a little soft for my taste.
